Frequently asked questions
Do customers need to download an app to see the QR menu?
No. The menu opens in the phone's normal web browser when they scan the QR code. There is nothing to download or install for diners.
How do I update the digital menu?
You edit items, prices, and photos from your GetMenyu dashboard and the changes appear on the QR menu immediately across all branches — no reprinting a paper menu.
Can diners order from the QR menu or only view it?
Both. It works as a view-only menu, and you can enable scan-to-order so diners place an order from their phone that lands on the cashier to accept.
Is the QR menu available in Arabic, French, and English?
Yes. Menus can carry English, French, and Arabic with per-item translations and a right-to-left layout for Arabic, and diners can switch language on their phone.
How do I get my QR code?
GetMenyu generates a QR code for each branch and table that you can print and place on tables or at the counter. It's included — just create your free account.
Do I need to buy any hardware for a QR menu?
No. The QR menu needs nothing but the phones your diners already carry and any printer to put the codes on paper. If you later add the POS, it runs on the devices and receipt printers you already own — buying hardware from us is optional.
How much does the QR menu cost?
The QR menu is not billed separately — it is part of the one GetMenyu subscription, along with QR ordering, inventory, the full POS, and support and updates. There is no per-scan or per-order commission and no hardware purchase required; the only setup is a remote session with our team.
